NDA Salary: Grade Pay, Bonuses, and Benefits

Candidates who graduate from the National Defense Academy as NDA officers get a substantial salary as well as additional allowances and advantages that are solely available to candidates serving in the Defense services.

Many people want to join the National Defence Academy and train to be officers in the Indian Defence Forces. Cadets who join the NDA enjoy several privileges. During the training, they begin receiving a substantial stipend, the specifics of which are provided below.
Fixed Stipend: Stipend given to Gentlemen Cadets for the duration of their training at Service Academies, i.e. throughout their time at IMA.
Amount: Rs. 56,100/- per month* (Starting pay in Level 10)
On successful commissioning, the officer’s pay in the Pay Matrix is determined in the first Cell of Level 10, and the time of training is not considered as commissioned service, and cadets are paid arrears on account of admissible allowances, if applicable, for the training period.
NDA Salary: Indian Army Pay Matrix
The Indian Army is divided into ranks. Officers are promoted based on their years of service and their ability to pass promotional tests. Officers earn pay and allowance increases in addition to a higher rank.
The rank-wise details of salary in Indian Army are as follows:
Level 10 – (56,100 – 1,77,500)
Level 10 B Capt- (61,300-1,93,900)
Maj – (69,400 – 2,07,200)
Level 12A – (1,21,200 –2,12,400)
Level 13 – Col (1,30,600-2,15,900)
Level 13A of the Brig (1,39,600-2,17,600)
Major General – 14th Level (1,44,200-2,18,200)
Level 15 on the Lt Gen AG Scale (1, 82, 200-2,24,100)
Level 16 HAG + Scale (2,05,400 – 2,24,400)

A. MSP Specifications (Military Service Pay) : Officers with the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier are also eligible to a monthly Military Service Pay (MSP) of $15,500. (fixed).
B. Travel Allowance: Army Aviators (Pilots) serving in the Army Aviation Corps are entitled to a 25,000/- a month flying allowance.
DA Salary 2022: Monetary Benefits in the Event of an Accident During Training
These rewards apply if applicants are involved in any tragic occurrences throughout the training term. The repercussions are classified into two categories: compensation for handicap and compensation for death. The severity of the repercussions will have a direct impact on the amount of compensation.
A- Compensation in the Event of Disability
A monthly ex-gratia payment of INR 9,000/- would be made.
In the event of total disability, the candidate would get an ex-gratia payment of INR 16,200/- each month.
There will be no payment if the disability percentage is less than 20%.
If the Invaliding Medical Board (IMB) approves, the candidate will be awarded a monthly constant-attendance allowance of INR 6750/-.
B- Compensation in the Event of Death
1- The NoK will receive an ex-gratia payment of INR 12.50 Lacs.
2- The NoK would receive an ex-gratia payment of INR 9,000/- per month.
